After doing the legit Bear Complex WOD of 7-7-7-7-7 and getting up to 65kg (143lds) I decided to keep it moving. Which by the way is a complete conditioning workout disguised as a lifting workout. ๐Ÿ˜ฉ

I felt strong so why not go for a one rep max. My round of two rep were at 80 kg (176lds) and it felt good though I saw that I shot my hips up to fast and had a mute hip( didnโ€™t open the hips all the way) on the squat clean. The attempt at 85kg(187lds) was a no go from the start because I was already on a bad path from the clean. On top of that my rack position was not sound.

I really enjoyed getting heavy again but I can see there is room for improvement. Itโ€™s not all heavy, cool looking lifts. Almost all of my training is sub maximal. These pause deadlifts are less than 60% of my 1RM and thatโ€™s because a) Iโ€™m weak and 2) itโ€™s rep after rep with perfect technique that makes you strong ๐Ÿค™. ๐Ÿ“ธ @cherietu

Itโ€™s easy to want something but to take the time and grind at it everyday is the challenging part. Iโ€™ve been working to hit 275 for a very long time. This 10lb PR is someone elseโ€™s warm up weight. So be humble, work hard, and continue to challenge yourself because the only person you HAVE to be better than is the person you were yesterday. โ€ขโ€ขโ€ข

As a Mama, I have stubborn fat in my abdomen and lower back areas (where I hold all my excess fat, thanks hormones haha) so it takes longer for me to shred body fat then it does for me to gain muscle (Most likely cause Iโ€™m too indecisive about what i want the most - more on this topic in another post) So this little tip keeps me satisfied with my body shape, until I decide to get my eating sorted and actually focus on losing the Mum Tum ๐Ÿ˜‚ .

Okay hereโ€™s my lifts from the winter powerlifting meet @ohiosportsandfitness yesterday. Squat 360/Bench 170/Deadlift 385. Had a fucking blast and even won overall best female lifter. canโ€™t wait to see what we can do by February. Iโ€™m extremely lucky to have my boyfriend as my strength coach.
