30 day plank challenge -50 seconds.... I took this photo and then for a split second thought...’ooh my stomach looks like it is hanging down there’......in the next split second I thought ‘who cares, I’m 50 years old, have just held a plank for 50seconds, straight after doing 100 squats and a half hour of yoga. I will be teaching a HIIT class this morning, followed by a Pilates class later today. I’m fit and strong so who cares what my tummy looks like in this photo.
So to myself I say ‘I’m sorry, please forgive me, I love you’

Into the final week of my challenge! As I was taking this photo, I noticed how good my nails are looking.. long(er then usual) and tidy. If you have know me for a while, you may or may not have noticed that my nails are almost always short and messy. This is a huge difference. I realized that without even thinking about it, my change in mindset towards fitness has impacted other self-care areas in my life. Kicking bad nail habits, food habbits, and learning to take better care of my body all round

When you start to track your emotions you might end up having a high tendency to judge yourself for the negative emotions. This will be very counter productive for the purpose we are tracking emotions. Your job is to only observe the emotions you went through in a day right now, not to judge yourself based on that emotion. Understand that your emotion is just a state of your mind, not you.
