This isn't the best record I've found, but it's probably the most valuable, and for the oddest reason. Allegedly there were only 10 of these made (probably untrue) and this song somehow made the billboard charts for a few weeks way back when, possibly with no actual airplay, so to the group of people that collect all the billboard 45s it's the one to find. There isn't a ton of information about this online, and the artist has passed away so we may never get the full story, but it's interesting nonetheless.
The story goes that Shamus (actually name Richard Doyle) was a comedian who wanted to make pop music so he recorded this track and gave a copy to a few dj friends of his, from there it may have been played on air and it definitely made the billboard 100. Shamus recorded a few other things but nothing ever came for him. The flip side is a comedy routine.
