“You never want to go out anymore. You’re no fun.”
Trust me, I’ve heard it all before too.
No, not from this guy, but from plenty of others - friends, family, significant others, co-workers.
Trying to adopt new habits and routines is freaking tough when the people around us don’t understand, or don’t support us.
Even worse, when it comes from those closest to us.
It’s easy to start feeling insecure and just say “screw it!” and go back to what’s comfortable, but here are a couple things to remember before you do
Are you here to fulfill what serves YOU or what serves someone else? Take a minute to consider why someone is making these comments. Jealousy? Limiting Beliefs? Unhappiness with their own lifestyle?
There are plenty of people out there who have similar goals and interests as yourself! The internet makes it so easy to connect with these people who share your interests. Whether it be myself, or someone else who’s also “obsessed” with this lifestyle, find yourself a support system.
