Rest day on the awesome 4 day a week program I'm doing means active recovery =girl time as we walk and catch up! This program is perfect for my busy schedule and short enough that I can squeeze in the 30-40 minute workouts 4 days a week before the kids are up! I know it’s crazy right? That’s why I’m sharing a selfie as proof, otherwise you wouldn’t believe me 😆

If you follow me, you know my typical workout routine is 6 days a week with Sunday off. Well with this new program I’m doing, it’s only 4 days of workouts with 3 days off. And today is a day off!

Not only does it give my body the recovery time it needs but it allows me to rearrange the schedule as needed without falling behind if I miss a day.

Yeaaa I know can’t believe it either! Only 4 days a weeks and 3 rest days, it’s a change but oh so needed after pushing playing 6 days a week on 60 min workouts for the first 5 months of this year!

Life is busy and I think we can all admit there's probably no "slowing down" in sight!
That's why I am so incredibly excited for my brand new, 4 day a week (yes, I said 4 days a week!) simple workout, simple nutrition, program!
We get in and get it done with basic lifting followed by HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) where we SPIKE our metabolism which really ups the calorie burn throughout the rest of the day, and then we end each workout with CORE!
Then we'll enjoy 3 rest days where we can just LIVE OUR LIVES (hello enjoying summer!) This allows us to do those things we truly enjoy and it also lets our muscles get that much needed rest so we come back STRONGER!
