Happy Monday! Hope you've all had a good start to the week.
Tonight I had a mushroom and lentil Bolognese with whole wheat spaghetti and a big salad
My boyfriend commented tonight on how much food I had on my plate- and I must admit I do always have big portions! But I don't feel bad as it's all veg except for the pasta! Just goes to show us vegans don't just live on lettuce leaves and twigs though.
Have a great week
After a heavy weekend the last thing I wanted to do tonight was to drag my butt to the gym.... but I did it.... starting the week with some cardio to ease me before leg day tomorrow #TheFlexEffect#wwmove#mondaygymmotivation
So I completely forgot to share with you my brunch from yesterday - how beautiful is this avocado rose from @jusubrothers ! I'd been meaning to go there for a while and it certainly didn't disappoint! I hope you've all had a lovely start to the week! I also wanted to let you know that there's a few spare tickets to my event with @bodhitreespa on Thursday so head over to their profile to grab them!
Last week, we had @salcooks in the WMCA to feed us! They had SO MANY vegan options... pretty much 50% of the menu! Thank you for the choice! This was a yummy sweet potato and pinto bean salad. Check them out, making delish food near to Snow Hill Birmingham!
Some infants & children need a bit more encouragement than others to enjoy eating fruit. Offer a variety of fruits that look inviting and appealing on a plate. Take care to chop them up length ways so as not to cause a choking hazard in infants and preschool children. Fruit is frequently on offer in the supermarkets so offering fruits other than apples and bananas should financially be more viable. Parents often tell me that cost is an obstacle for not offering children fruit so below I have compared a toddler portion of various fruits from a supermarket to some other snack foods
Food Cost per portion
70g grapes 25p
30g Raspberries 26p
Small Banana 13p
Bag of cheddars 26p
Organix carrot puffs 60p
Goodies fruit & oat bars 60p
15g treat bag chocolate buttons 21p
Plain biscuit such as a rich tea 2p. #heathlyfood#fruit#kidsfood#kidsfoodideas#5aday#vitamins#healthyeating#healthyeatinghabits#whatrdsdo#snacks#healthysnack#toddlersnacks#toddlernutrition

We had a big morning playing outside and going to the library so we had to refresh with a nice cold smoothie before nap! Today's green smoothie included baby spinach, banana, strawberry, acai berry frozen puree, leftover yogurt, hemp hearts and almond milk.
