There seems to be more and more flyers for the Drive In Theater posted around town. Even our community’s cozy coffee shop has two tacked to the bulletin board. I asked Midge (who runs the shop for any of you who don’t have the pleasure of knowing her) who put them there and she said that when she closed shop the day before, the only flyers on the board were for after hours tango classes (the address listed is residential so you may want to steer clear...) and the Peterson’s missing mastiff, Duke Ellington. Upon opening shop the next morning, the two yellowed Drive In flyers were hanging just below the others, each sporting an illustration of a nondescript black sedan parked before a large screen with one of those old timey movie count down clocks projected on it. The clock was stopped at 6 and next to it were those four words- NEW PICTURE THIS FRIDAY. After a long pause, Midge shook her head and told me she was probably just mixed up though, after all, people don’t break into coffee shops in the middle of the night just to take advantage of the tack board. Do they? . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
