Porsche 911 GT1 ‘98 chassis number GT1/98-003, the 1998 24 Hours of Le Mans overall winner as driven by Allan McNish, Laurent Aiello and Stephane Ortelli. This marked Porsche’s 16th overall Le Mans victory. It is a pure race car from a time when there was little electronic intervention, and much of the work of completing and winning the race was up to the drivers; a time when true heroes and legends were born.
How totally cool is this. It’s the real deal 911 gt1. I also had the immense pleasure to take the driving experience at the Porsche Experience Center LA @pecla Thank you to my very understanding and incredibly courageous instructor @armen_agh for the precious driving instruction! #pecla#porsche#911gt1#losangeles
Our old Porsche 906-134 during a respray to original Racing Team Holland colors. 906-134 is now on display @petersenmuseum along with the 1997 Porsche 993 Gt1 Chassis 101. Both the Gt1 and 906 done by the talented @kundensport years back!
Porsche GT3 looking proper in Chalk white.
This is about as proper of a new car as you could buy, as it comes equipped with a 4.0L engine that’ll hit 9,000rpm before you shift gears with the manual 6-Speed. Got to love it.
One of very few #911gt1 with a whopping 600 hp and a top speed of 200mph, imagine what it was like as a road car!
