Lately I’ve been lovingggg leafy greens in ALL my meals, and especially as a clean breakfast option to start my day off on the right foot. I’ve been adding spinach, 1-2 tbsp @naturalcitizen protein powder, splash cold brew, 2 Brazil nuts, 1 date, 1/2 banana, tbsp hemp, tbsp coconut, tbsp cacao, @threetrees almond milk, cinnamon and ice cubes and it’s just the right combo for me. 👌🏼 I’m curious, how many servings of leafy greens do you all usually get per day?

Keeping up with this challenge has been pretty grueling to be honest, but I want to stay consistent with you guys and show you how I stay #SqurlFit. Today I’m doing some simple dumbbell presses, but I keep the dumbbells overhead throughout the workout to burn my shoulders out. You can vary the dumbbell weight and the number of reps. Here, I’m using 50lbs and 10reps each arm. Try these out and sculpt out some sexy arms and chest 👌🤟

Always a day late to #meatlessmonday when every day is meatless 🤷🏻‍♀️⠀

Pictured here is a “meaty” sauce I made using @traderjoes barolo wine marinara, sugar-free tomato purée, @boca.burger crumbles and a BUNCH of spices! I combined rubbed dalmatian sage, thyme, oregano, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, pepper and paprika to get a sausage-y flavor with my boca crumbles as I sautéed them in a pan and then added the sauce and tomato purée. I basically use the “guess and check” method of adding spices — sampling, and adding more as needed — does anyone else cook this way?! Served it with broccoli, spinach, and a mix of @traderjoes lentil pasta and @eatbanza.⠀

This meal was the last of my soy-based meat substitutes in my freezer!! YAY! I made a soy-free version using @hempeplantprotein on Sunday and it was every bit as delicious!

used meditation techniques to realign, reconstruct his spine, and balance his chakras. Which led to his full recovery. This is a great example of the power of mediation to truly give our body a rest and check in on a deeper level to what is real and needing attention to heal ourselves from within. 💗
He describes his experience he had 20 years ago, which inspired him to investigate the power of the brain to alter our life. Much of his spine was crushed in a bike accident, and four surgeons said his only option to avoid paralysis was a type of surgery that would have left him with a permanent disability and possibly, lifelong pain. He had to make the toughest decision of his life, but I turned down the surgery and turned instead to the innate intelligence that constantly gives life to everyone one of us. Ten weeks later, without surgery, he was back at work, completely healed and pain-free. He gives credit in the book to many factors that contributed to his healing.

I’m the last person that wants to go walk on the treadmill or stair master but always up for a HIIT or some base of athletic conditioning.
Incorporating the @trainingmask during these workouts help build endurance but also create resistance by reducing the amount of air one can inhale. This method helps the individual (athlete) learn to control his breathing while building his endurance. .

Michael joined me at Whole Foods to give us some pointers on how to be smart when filling up your buffet container at @wholefoodsatl so that you get the most bang for your buck, and still get a delicious + healthy meal.😁

A few things he suggested when eating at the $8.99/lb buffet:
1) Opt for the boneless chicken vs. bone-in so you’re not paying a bunch of money for the bones that you don’t even need (it’s delicious by the way)
2) Go for carb options like brown rice that’s less heavy when you go to weigh your container
3) Choose a lighter greens option such as kale so you’re still getting awesome nutrients but it’s weighing less *******
He helped me choose my delicious salad creation which came out to just $6.50, and consisted of the boneless chicken, kale salad w/ cranberries, spinach, roasted corn, grape tomatoes, pickled onions, green onions, pickles, and Italian dressing. So good!
You guys, this buffet is LEGIT!😍🤤
