🌿Alocasia odora "Okinawa Silver" • This is a beautiful species of Elephant's Ear. It thrives when planted outdoors in zones 9-11, but can be potted and thrive outside in zones 4a-11. They like a lot of sun, but the white spots on their leaves are extremely prone to sunburn, so placement is key. Alocasias need lots of room for their roots to grow in order to maintain consistent above-ground growth. If the plant experiences root rot, uproot the plant and cut off all the roots; so long as the bulb is not rotted, allow the bulb to callous over then place it in a bucket with an inch of water. It will regrow new roots and be ready to plant within a few months.
