Got to feed honey to the Honey Badgers on Tuesday. Was a totally amazing experience to get up close to and learn so much about these amazing creatures. The girls put on quite the show, very playful and so intelligent!! I can't wait to get the rest of the pictures off of my camera I feel truly lucky to have got as close as we did!!! Highly recommend howletts animal encounters.
What is your dream bedroom?
I have been caught up with half term duties, but need to share this room with you.
This would be my dream room as a child ( even now) @portlympnepark
When John Aspinall took over the mansions made by Sir Philip Sassoon, he asked Spencer Roberts to paint what was then The Sert Room. The room contains 220 different species of animals. Most are direct observations from animals who live in Port Lympne and Howletts Zoo.
Celebrating 3 years of Caleb today! 3 years since we left a labour ward looking like something out of an Alien film after a 36 hour labour... 3 years of little sleep and getting woken up at all hours (this continues)... 3 years of attempting to get one wet wipe out of a pack but pulling out ten at a time (I still haven't mastered this and just assume it's a tactic to get me to buy more)... but also 3 years of fun. Caleb also happened to be born on my dad's birthday so we get a double celebration every year now too!
Today the attempt to take Caleb and Eli to every attraction in Kent took us to @portlympnepark for a Safari and Dinosaur adventure. It was great and well worth the visit, Caleb loved it, especially naming all the dinosaurs... although it's 9.45pm and he's still awake refusing to go to bed. Oh Well, it's not worth the battle and it's his birthday... where's the red wine?
