Made a last minute decision to compete in the Ryde Athletics Games today. The last time I competed at an athletics day was 1999 - 20 years ago 😱 But the old body managed to keep up thank god. The goal was to not injure myself - very ambitious 😂 This was the high jump (clearly 🤦♂️). Might even take up ‘old boys’ athletics 🙌 #athletics#highjump#trackandfield#rydeathletics#littleathletics#ryde

Now this is an interesting article. It identifies the correlation between poor balance and concussion in rugby players.Douglas Heels - Be Activated Practitioners would identify that as a posterior lateral sling compensation issue and probably a 333 jaw driver. It would take 5 mins to test this theory and about 20 mins to put right. Oh and if they are running a bilateral 333 jaw they shouldn’t be allowed back in the game until they can hold the neck test. #Collisionsports#performance#analysis#athletics#reduceinjurypotential#douglasheel#rugby#alanquinlan#beactivated#concussion#recogniseandremove. https://www.the42.ie/irish-study-concussion-irfu-rugby-balance-decrease-risk-4447512-Jan2019/?utm_source=email
