For “those of you” 👀 who don’t want to / can’t attend the gym (but want to get started), why not try this body weight circuit. No equipment is needed and you can do it ANYWHERE. .
.
Body weight circuit:
1️⃣ Tricep dips - 15 reps (you see me dying? 🙃).
2️⃣ Glute bridge - 20 reps (squeeze your butt cheeks together).
3️⃣ Body weight squat - 10 reps
4️⃣ Regressed push up - 10 (easier than normal push ups, harder than “lady push ups” where ur knees are on the floor).
5️⃣ Body weight lunges - 20 alternating legs.

Do steps 1 to 5 three times over 🤗 .

PS I recorded this a few weeks ago. I think I had just finished my cut or was coming out of it. No fucking chance I’m still that lean then way mans been eating ☠️☠️☠️😅

Our Basic Training Move for the day (get it #Back2Basics -Basic Training & Camo 😆) is an oldie but goodie - Pushups! This move primarily works arms but also gives abdominals a good squeeze along the way. 😉


To perform this move get into plank position, lower your body down in one line to touch the ground, (making sure not to drop your bottom), then lift your body back up to plank position (again in one line), and you’ve completed your first push-up! 😃


For the modified version, start in plank position, drop to your knees, lower your body in one straight line down to the floor, then lift back up to plank position. You e completed your first push-up! 🤗


Beginners try 3 set of 5-6 reps,
Intermediate 3 sets of 8-10 reps,
Advanced 3 sets of 10-12rep.

It’s OK if you are barely moving, as long as you are still moving that body! There are a million excuses to sit a session out; I just flew 15 hrs, I am so tired, I am sick, I am so jet lagged etc etc etc ... get out there anyways and throw your weight around, even if totally unenthusiastically, just do it, everything in you will be grateful thereafter. Your will is a muscle all its own, exercise it and the gainZ will manifest.

Today I was sure would be a bad training day. I don’t feel that way often.

I prepared my self to take less progress than I’d ideally expect.

As I set up, someone asked what I hoped to lift and I told him my ideal numbers coz I didn’t want to admit to myself that I expected crud.

Just saying it out loud… It felt real and I was excited.
So then I didn’t want to accept less.
I ended up hitting exactly the number I wanted

This nicely reinforced two things for me:
1. Decide during training, if it’s a good training day - not at home/work.
2. If you want something put it out there, state your intention. Positive affirmation is powerful.
Top set of 8 @320kg shown.
Followed by 4x10 at 260, and chest press (not shown).

Try out this rope climb l-sit next time you workout... if you have access to a rope. If not be creative and think outside the box and you will surely be able to find a way to set up with any rope you may have to do this.

When I start to get bored of a certain exercise I like to challenge myself with different variations. I often start or end an upper body workout with 100 pushups. Ive been getting bored of the classic push-up and when we get bored or don’t enjoy things we tend to leave them out (I am guilty of doing this more times than I can count) a solution to this is mixing it up and trying new things.
