Try as I might, I can’t stay away from mythology based fiction. Karna’s Celestial Armor is the story of Vasu’s quest to find the hidden armor of his spirit guide, Karna. Yes, the same Karna from Mahabharata and his fabled Armor that is supposed to make the wearer ‘Conqueror of Death’. It is a sequel to ‘Karna’s Alter Ego’, which I read some time back and found really inspiring.
3/5 for the well paced adventure that takes you to all four directions.
Full review up on my blog. Link in bio.
Also something encouraging happened. I found some editing mistakes in the book which l mentioned in my review. Unlike many authors, Surendra Nath reached out so that he could improve his book before it goes for paperback publication.
Kudos to the author for being so receptive.

Which books are you bringing to Thanksgiving dinner? We’ll pack all 4 School for Good & Evil books
"Happy happy #mapmonday !!
This is the fun, gorgeous map in The School for Good and Evil! I bought these books in my last #bookoutlethaul because I couldn’t resist the covers. But I was so excited to find out they also have maps!!
Maps are definitely my favorite thing to find in a book, especially if I didn’t except it to be there. It makes me immediately want to pick up the book and start reading so I can dive into that world.
On Friday, I had the absolute pleasure of meeting Lauren James, author of The Loneliest Girl In The Universe, in a hosted event by @waterstones. I uploaded a blog post today about the evening in which I discuss some of the writing tips she gave, check it out. #linkinbio#bookblogger#bookstagram
Hello my bookish bees!! Happy Monday || So, yesterday I finished The Clockwork Princess by @cassieclare1 and By The Angel! I was in tears, bawling my eyes out! There were so many ups and downs within TCP that when things finally 'slowed down' a bit, I thought it was okay but oh my gosh no! The ending completely ripped my heart out of my chest. However one thing I didn't like about the ending was this. (Skip ahead if you don't want to be spoiled) I honestly did not like that Tessa ran back to Jem when she found out he was no longer a Silent Brother. Like that drove me crazy because she literally went through one heartbreak when Will died- why put herself through another? And it may just be me but even though she always said she loved Will and Jem equally, I feel as if she loved Will a tad bit more. (Don't kill me cause that's just my opinion on it) But then again, love makes you do crazy things so maybe that's why. But it also bothered me that she ran away from everyone she loved when Will died. I completely get her reasoning for it but I just think that was extreme. However, I did enjoy the book overall and I give it a 4.5/5 I'd recommend this book to you but only if you are a strong person and you don't get emotionally wrecked over books. (This book is not for the weak) --
Anyways, now that I'm finished with TCP, I'll be moving on to continue reading Zarox by Luis Smith since I was sent a copy of the book. I'm looking forward to reading that book and I will be doing a little wrap up on my #bookstagram when I'm done. --
Hope you all enjoyed the Monday and keep shining!
QOTD : Do you get extremely emotional over books?

What did I do with my Monday evening you ask?... Well I went into hibernation mode immediately upon learning @t.s.joyce released For The Love Of An Outlaw. I stocked up on the necessities (i.e sweets and tea) and hunkered down for the ride.
