Welcome to Glenveagh Castle in County Donegal, Ireland. We visited this beautiful site during the Writer’s Retreat I took part in last month. ... We were told that the last private owner prided himself on his hospitality so much that he weighed male guests upon arrival, and again as they departed. ... Breakfast was at 8am for the men, but all ladies got breakfast in bed. I wish my wife Chere hadn’t heard that last bit.
