Recently I have been asked what exercises make the high side of the chest muscle bigger and/or how does one make the lower side of the chest fuller. Masters or doctorate degrees of bro science will convince you that it’s simply just adding more incline benching for upper chest and/or decline bench for the lower side of the chest. Nothing could be further from the truth. Just to be clear the acronym for bro science is BS; that is exactly what this type of logic is. The pec major muscle is one muscle. Muscles either contract or relax. Changing angles of a press doesn’t activate half of the muscle more than the other. Anyone who has studied anatomy of the human body should know that. Want a fuller chest? Learn how to lift properly, eat foods that the body can use for muscle development and repair, and get enough rest so your pec major will grow.
