It's a little chilly this morning in Melbourne and for me, that means porridge.
The influence that memory and emotion have over our experience of food is a powerful one. For example, porridge will always remind me of my grandmother who serves it with brown sugar. As a kid, the brown sugar was everything! Now whenever I make it for myself for breakfast, I sweeten it with bananas and a small dash of maple syrup instead but I still relive those experiences. I still feel the love 🥰. What are your food memories?
