Meet Cam, the founder and CEO of EDiversity 教育大同, at the Value and Impact: Social Innovation in Education panel discussion at 6:00PM next Tuesday!
Cam graduated from the Chinese University of Hong Kong with a degree in Journalism. Having been a radio and TV news reporter for 9 years, Cam chose to become a freelance writer when she was pregnant with her first child. In 2005, she followed her English husband's dream and sailed across the Pacific with him and their two daughters for 4 years and 8 months on their catamaran Jade, and practised homeschooling throughout the voyage. They settled down in Hong Kong in 2010 when their girls joined local schools. After two years, they decided to return to homeschooling again as they found a difference in education expectation. Cam has written three Chinese books, two on their voyage and one on their home education experience.
