Grateful to have completed our AyurYoga Nature Retreat at the Canadian Art of Living Center in Quebec. It was a jam packed weekend with 7 beautiful, inspired, and curious participants interested in learning about incorporating Ayurveda into their daily lives and yoga practice.
Here's a peak into a cooking session we conducted showing them how to make Kitchadi at home, a staple Ayurvedic meal that's highly beneficial with many cleansing properties, said to be the meal of the Gods. I also love the variety of spices that go into making this wholesome meal: turmeric, cumin, coriander, mustard seeds. For those interested you can find them at your local Indian grocery store.
