If you have family that’s all you need. So grateful for all the love they give my heart is full , my soul has life again. . . I’ve been feeling down lately but every time I see their faces it reminds me of the way my dad used to look at me and when I get a hug it reminds me of how affectionate my pops was. I hope to find a man as wonderful as Rodrigo Gonzalez. #GLAMPing#ventura#cousintime#gonzalezfam
I usually try to not post anything on Sundays so I can spend more time with family and not on my phone. But we are on a family trip and on the way to see Kent’s family history sites! So I had to share this!
Coming from Japan, I feel like big family reunions are an American thing. Since everyone lives so far away that they have an event to get together as a big extended family with cousins, aunties and uncles and grandparents every year or every couple of years. (I guess this is like Japanese New Years where all the families get together. That was my favorite day of the year as a child!) ．
At the first reunion it was overwhelming not knowing every one and feeling like you should know every one but you just can’t remember everyone since you married into the family and feel dumb when you get their names wrong or have to ask their names so many times (have you had that happen to you before?) ．
But by the end you feel like you belong to the family even more. I love that feeling. It’s like that News Year’s get-together all over again but with a new family. So this week is going to be great and Towa’s loving all of this cousin time so far
Welcome home to our nephew and cousin Tony Romero who just returned from Texas where he served for 2 years as a missionary. So proud of him and the amazing young man he's become. So grateful to have him home! #cousintime#familiesareforever
