COMO AUMENTAR OS MÚSCULOS DA PERNA!
Fiquei muito surpreso quando fiz uma pesquisa sobre a minha história na semana passada e descobri que para a maioria de vocês, o dia da perna é realmente o seu treino favorito.
Isso é bom porque, como você verá, meu número um conselho para melhorar suas pernas, como todas as partes do corpo, é treiná-las com mais frequência.
Em primeiro lugar, como eu disse, maior frequência provavelmente produzirá melhores resultados.
Minhas pernas explodiram quando comecei a treiná-las pesadas em um dia durante a semana e mais leves no final da semana. Qualquer pessoa que eu recomendei essa abordagem teve resultados muito semelhantes.
As pernas parecem realmente responder a variações de repetição e cadências ao longo da semana
Em segundo lugar, faça o seu agachamento e leg press com amplitude total de movimento. É muito fácil se concentrar em adicionar peso a cada semana, enquanto a amplitude de movimento fica cada vez menor. Antes que você perceba, você está fazendo meias repetições e mudando muito pouco.
Por fim, vamos encarar isso. Treinar pernas é difícil. A maioria das pessoas não se diverte e muitas pessoas simplesmente "fazem os movimentos" com algumas extensões de joelhos, flexões de joelhos, leg press e os chamam de um dia. Muitas pessoas que realmente agacham, mal se esforçam e apenas parecem que treinam.
Eu não estou dizendo que você deve se esforçar nas pernas ao ponto de vomitar, mas eu geralmente me sinto enjoado nos dias da perna, especialmente fazendo repetições mais altas. Treinamento de pernas, devem fazer você se sentir um pouco desconfortável.

Not only a personal best squat but a major win from a mental standpoint. Here's some back story to this. Last year, Denise attempted to hit this squat in the gym but failed the lift. Looking back, I believe it was more a mental struggle rather than a physical one as to why she didn't complete the lift. A couple months later and she begins to feel some back and hip issues that took her out of any barbell movements for awhile. We worked on changing her stance a little, some mobility exercises to improve her movement pattern and focused on the McGill Big 3. Fast forward to now and here we have 185lbs for a beltless PR.
I did not tell her I loaded the bar to this weight because from what I've learned from training with her, she tends to sike herself out when we  get to heavier weight. What's helped her the most I believe are the following:
1. Training her core (planks, bird dogs, more stability based core exercises) and beltless squats so she can work on bracing for the squat. This could be a double edge sword because if lifters aren't necessarily bracing to begin with then it could probably lead to some bad results.
2. Tempo and Pause Squats. Slowing down the squat to watch her movement patterns so she is moving efficiently and pause squats because it can teach you to stay tight at the bottom and teach you to be more powerful from the bottom if that is your sticking point.
3. Confidence. Getting her to forget how heavy the weight feels is the most important thing. The way I've always looked at it; as you get stronger, the weight doesn't feel lighter, you just become more efficient to moving the heavier weight. You are more familiar and more experienced to perform the movement.

Slowly working my weight on deadlifts back up after that nasty tweak a few weeks back. 365 moved VERY nicely; really focused on perfecting execution in order to ensure progression. Looking forward until the day I start moving 4 donuts a side again.
