I usually don’t wear makeup when I workout but I had a Skype consultation at 8am this morning so it was a nice surprise catching glances of myself in the mirror looking semi cute instead of like a straight up mess 😅 give this HIIT circuit from @whitneyysimmons a try! It’s super easy to do anywhere and had me dying! I did 3 rounds straight through. So 40 seconds each movement, 20 sec rest in between until you get to the end and then do that all 2 more times. Then have fun walking tomorrow 😉

It’s the☝🏼Flex Friday of the Love Your Body Series and I’m feeling so strong and beautiful after this morning’s Beach Yoga Tone+DMs💪🏼💗💗

When thinking about my goals for this challenge I really wanted to focus on the self love aspect of this challenge and doing more things for myself.

Some of my goals are...
1️⃣Wake up everyday and say three affirmations about what I love about my body🥰
2️⃣Pamper myself at least once a week! Whether it be getting a mani pedi, doing a face mask, or taking a bubble bath, I want to gift myself with that me time because I deserve it💅💆🏻‍♀️
3️⃣Try new activities and workouts! I feel like I’ve gotten in a slump lately of just working and working out, so I’m really trying to make an effort to try new things and maybe start some new hobbies. So far this month I’ve done a sip & paint that was soooo much fun🍷🎨 I’m also doing my first actual kickboxing class next Tuesday and I’m so excited😆🥊

We as women typically take care of and put everyone else’s needs before our own. The thing I always think of though is what flight attendants say about putting on oxygen masks in case of an emergency🚨you have to put yours on first before you can help others🙌🏼✨

So make sure you are taking care of yourselves first babes! I know it’s hard to do sometimes, but if you do it will allow you to be the best mom, friend, aunt, daughter, and wife possible💕

Leg day is my favorite day! 🥰 It’s been so amazing being back at school, I didn’t realize how much I missed it here. Especially the gym equipment 🤣 I usually do more heavy lifting early in the week, and at the end of the week i do more accessory exercises. This is what I ended up doing today if you wanna try it out !! 🏋🏻‍♀️😊
-squats 5x5
-hip thrusts 2x10 then i increased the weight and did another 2x10
-hip adduction/abduction 3x10
-calf raises on the leg press 3x12
-cable push backs 3x10

🚨 Deadlift 1RM 🚨
Rearranging some of my workouts this week to get in all of my testers with the gym that works best ❤ Also, trying to get them all in before surgery next week.
Worked out at my original home gym to switch things up a bit, haven't been there in about 4 months.
Got my workout in and played around a little with my balance 😂🤷 I managed to get 165# with correct form in my deadlift (twice!) Tried for 175# because why not, but it wasn't happening 😂
I also discovered I make some LOVELY faces when I lift heavy weight. Lmao 🙄😅💁
