some days, I eat healthy, I appreciate it, I train hard, I do not feel frustrated at all, and I feel like a superhero.
And other days, I eat bowls of cereals on repeat, my sneakers are reported missing and I watch Harry Potter for the 1582th time.
And I do not beat myself up for it anymore.
Those days are for relieving the pressure.
Those days are for chilling out.
Those days are for reminding you you’re human.
And even if WonderWoman has a fab suit; I would not trade it for Cheerios 💥

Should women train different to men??
Studies have shown that women are often slow twitch fibre dominant (obviously there are exceptions) .... with that in mind you’d probably push them towards lower weight, higher reps, TUT.
In most cases recovery time is very quick also!
Maybe this is why a lot of women completely avoid heavy training 😏 don’t be a girl..... ! Hit a variety of rep ranges, tempos and frequency’s BUT don’t miss your heavy days!

You want to know what my most asked question is? Well. I’m going to tell you anyways. •
“Aren’t you tired?” •
My answer. Hell yea I’m tired. I’m always tired. But you see, here’s the thing. My goals outweigh my wants. Every day. I don’t relax because I’ll be able to do so when I’m done. •
And it’s pretty simple. If you are not doing something every day that puts you in a better position to reach your goals, then you don’t actually want it. It’s that simple. Don’t complain. Don’t make excuses. Don’t lie to yourself. •
We as humans are able to do impossible tasks as long as we put full focus and effort in. You would be surprised. •
So here’s what I challenge you to do this weekend. Sit down and think of the 5 people that are closest to you. If they are not where you want to be in life or are not pushing themselves to improve their lives, then get away. Because unfortunately, that is where you will end up. I’m sure you’ve heard that saying once or twice. •
So I open this up for discussion. Let me know what your goals, your dreams, what you want to accomplish in life are. Let’s talk about this. Because this will help you put things in to perspective. 👇🏽👇🏽👇🏽

Ola ! Aujourd'hui je voulais parler d'un problème trop fréquent en salle🙊. Exécuter un exercice avec un poids inadapté💥. Parfois dû à une méconnaissance de son propre corps, souvent par honte de ne pas faire comme le copain ou voisin à côté 😥(qui a peut être des années d'entrainements derrière lui💪).

Un souci qui malheureusement engendre des exécutions aléatoires💩, voir fantasques😱. A force d'idées reçues que soulever, ou tirer une charge se fait naturellement et sans risques. Or, notre corps a tendance à se placer dans la position la plus économique qui n'est pas forcément la plus salutaire👎.

Alors, il est essentiel d'avoir une meilleure attitude. Et laisser sa fierté de côté, quitte à utiliser de petits poids (cf la photo)🙏.

Ainsi, voici quelques recommandations de base ✌️:
-
1️⃣ Prendre conscience des consignes de placement et de respiration d'un exercice
-
2️⃣ Se familiariser avec une augmentation progressive de la charge
-
3️⃣ Connaître sa force maximale (RM) afin d'adapter la charge à l'objectif
-
4️⃣ Avoir une bonne amplitude et un mouvement soigné
-
5️⃣ Eviter les mouvements de bascule (souvent pour les curls)
-
6️⃣ Etre à l'écoute des conseils que peuvent donner des adeptes plus expérimentés, ou des coachs.

La mise en place de bonnes pratiques nutritionelles (notion d'équilibre alimentaire 📝) permettant de couvrir les besoins en nutriments (macro et micro) est primordiale 🙏lorsque vous pratiquez du sport régulièrement.

Cet équilibre permet en effet de rester performant et d'éviter les carences💥.

Il est aussi important de savoir gérer ses apports alimentaires avant, pendant et après l'entrainement💪. Pourquoi ?! Dans le but de reconstituer la recharge en glycogène, réparer ses lésions musculaires et contrôler l'acidité causée par l'effort👊👊👊.

Ainsi, voici quelques recommandations nutritionnelles de base ✌️:

1️⃣ Faire 3 repas/j et 1 à 2 collations selons vos besoins

2️⃣ Ne pas sauter de repas, et les prendre si possible à heures régulières

3️⃣ Préférer les modes de cuissons simples (à l'étouffée, vapeur, en papillote, à l'eau)

4️⃣ Varier les huiles pour couvrir les différents besoins en acides gras

5️⃣ Boire minimum 1,5L d'eau et adapter cette consommation selon les efforts fournis
