I’ve been eating pretty crappy this past week (yes, that’s basically what I ate all week) and even though there’s nothing wrong with treating yourself once in a while (moderation), I don’t like feeding my body sugary/greasy foods. ...and what better time to restart my healthy habits than this week off from school 🧐, right?

Keeping in routine on holidays isnt for everyone but honestly I swear by it, I don't like losing gains strength wise and my day starts fresh just like it does at home.
By not completely blowing out whilst away it also has the massive benefit of once I come home settling into routine is so much easier. Not going to need a holiday after a holiday . Todays session finished off with heavy resistance 20mins bike... always seems like a goodidea at the time!

ANATOMY 101: THROAT // We all know that the main function of the throat is to swallow and gulp anything placed inside the mouth. Beyond this, our throat has several functions the run all day and night to keep us alive. The throat acts as a transport system for air, fluids and any solids and our trachea (inside the throat) receives oxygen which it pushes into the lungs. In vinyasa yoga we practice ujjayi breath, a long, smooth breath that should be both energising and relaxing. The sound of ujjayi is created by gently constricting the opening of the throat to create some resistance to the passage of air.
