Anyone else have super dry skin in the winter? As much as I prefer the cold weather, I hate how dry it leaves my hands and body.
The Eucerin Aquaphor Soothing Skin Balm (around R99) is heavenly! It has a thick, balm consistency so it takes a while to absorb into the skin. I usually use this balm on my elbows, cuticles and lips and it has been very effective in relieving dryness. The Rain Biologie Kalahari Melon Hand Cream (around R99) is a lovely, moisturizing hand cream that contains shea butter, sunflower oil, jojoba oil, Kalahari melon oil, and Aloe Ferox leaf extract. This non-greasy, fast-absorbing product is quite creamy and very nourishing for dry hands. It also works well as a cuticle moisturiser.
In terms of keeping my skin moisturised throughout the entire day, I love using either the Aveeno Daily Moisturising Lotion, or the Afriderm Body Butter, or any Palmer's lotion and I sometimes add a few drops of Bramley's Magnolia Tissue Oil for extra moisture.
