Calorie balance and Weight loss .
There is a massive argument between two opposing Nutritional camps🙅🏻♀️
In one camp the idea that ONLY the equation - CALORIES IN VS CALORIE OUT matters.⛺️
In the other camp, they argue that Calories DON’T MATTER at all, that the equation doesn’t take into account that we are HUMAN and that hormonal interaction plays a greater role than caloric intake, etc. 🤷♀️
In reality, neither camp is wrong as such, it is more a case that everyone EXISTS along a spectrum.🌈
The summation of everything that makes up your current self right now (age job, relationship, weight, sleep, activity, stress, kids, everything) decides where you currently sit on that spectrum. 🧮
AND where you sit on the spectrum concerning some of the headings below, will change where the emphasis of your efforts needs to be to gain the best results at that current time.🎯
Yes calorie balance will always matter🙌🏼

We could get 100 people in a room and depending on where they fall on all the above categories at any one time, ie severely sleep deprived or severely stressed VS, not at all will effect on how well they adhere to a CALORIE DEFICIT.
Example A - the person has a stressful job, who gets little to no sleep and often goes long periods without eating.😰
Both the stressful lifestyle and the poor sleep can promote a cascade of hormonal changes that can be attributed to the likelihood of overeating. This individual relies on food as an avenue for stress management, making them adhere to calorie deficit will take away their only method of stress management & will result in BINGING sooner or later.
Example B - Student, who has an easy part-time job, great sleep, no kids or much in terms of responsibility just has a poor understanding of food nutrition but inadvertently overeats.👩🎓
