Ahhh another great match that I’ll probably be missing out on, but here’s my pre match analysis anyways ⇊
We finally get to play against Tottenham once again after one hell of a fixture from the last few weeks. That game was sealed by none other than Leo Messi in the last few minutes to end it 2-4 in what has been an amazing 6 goal thriller. This will be our last game of the group stages.
As you might already know, we’ve secured our promotion to the Round of 16s, and I personally think it would be a great idea to rest some of our best players, and give a chance for the other ones to get in on some of the fun. Stegen and Suarez are my first preferred options, to be replaced by Cillessen and Denis or Munir in the wings while Messi plays in a nostalgic false 9 position. Rakitic, I just can’t stress how much he needs to rest. He’s been playing literally every game for us so far and some other players deserve some time too. I love him, but it’s actually gone to a point where it’s pretty unfair on players like Vidal and Denis. Expecting Arthur to be starting up after a return from injury.
Tottenham, on the other hand, will most probably be coming in with a more complete squad than the last time we faced them. They had Dele Alli and Eriksen injured, and I think they also had a few defenders out due to injury as well. Kane, man, this guy is a machine. Him standing up against our defenders really scares me out, but I’m 100% sure that our centre backs will be up for the challenge! They are missing their two main rightbacks though (Trippier and Aurier), and will be forced to play with Kyle Walkers-Peters. Yeah, not THAT Kyle Walker, but I hear that he’s a promising youngster coming in from their youth team.
In the end, we will qualify no matter what the result, but a game in the Camp Nou means that it’s essential for us to stand our ground and show other clubs that this game is more about the win. VAMOSSS💙❤️ #BARTOT #BarcaSpurs #UCL #MATCHDAY #UCLDAY6
