This morning was one of those mornings where I looked in the mirror and though, “whoa.”
I’m finally seeing my body REALLY transform, and I’m shooketh.
Some of you may not see a huge change, but to me, I’m in shock that my body has transformed this much.
In the book, “The Compound Effect,” Darren Hardy illustrates this idea perfectly:
“The accomplishments if any goal is the progressive accumulation, or compound effect, of small steps taken consistently over time.” -
My body is a result of small yet CONSISTENT adjustments I made to my eating over an extended period of time. -
You may not see changes on a day to day, week to week, or even month to month basis. But once day you will look in the mirror with your jaw dropped and think holyyyyyy moly. It worked. -
Trust the process. Focus less on what you see in the mirror and focus on staying consistent with your goals.
Ps. Shout out to @alazaros88 for the book recommendation
