★12 THINGS you should know about me★
#1: I never intended on pursuing a creative career path. (Starting this off with a LONG one...)
Becoming an artist (or "popstar" to be specific) was always my childhood dream, but like most do, it sort of got squashed under the heavy feet of reality. As I got older, it seemed quite far fetched to make a living off of music and I was afraid to step out of my comfort zone, so I chose to go after a linear career path.
In senior year of High School, I decided to go into Science for an undeclared major (after graduating in the top 10 of my grad class with scholarships). The summer leading up to University was full of anxiety over my future, questioning why I felt so afraid to take a risk on my dream.
After completing only 1 semester of school (lol), I had come to terms with reality and realized that in order to be TRULY happy, I had to give my dreams a fair chance. And here I am today, self employed entirely and working 3 creative careers. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
All I can say is this: You have one life, and how you chose to spend it is entirely up to you. But I made the choice to step outside of the stereotypical box I had made for myself and it's opened so many windows of opportunity and happiness. Life goes by so fast, and we work for so much of it. Follow your passion, work hard, and you will find the rewards that you seek out. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
