One day during my trip, my moped broke and I was forced to push it on the side of the road. A handful of complete strangers stopped by and offered to help me push it. If that’s not selflessness then I don’t know what is. Thanks to all the sweet and loving people we met in Bali, I’m inspired to love more

Not bad, first time on a treadmill in about a month and a half. Been mall walking or walking outside. Speaking of which, I need to finish my workout today, this was definitely not enough steps. Need to finish my workout, then I think I'll go to see a movie...

Thought I’d end the week with a LEG day...my personal fav and start the weekend by feelin the burn One of the things I love about workouts are they can be customized to fit you and your #goals . You can do your own thing or get inspiration from others to form an incredible workout targeting whichever muscle groups you want. I find it helpful focusing each day on one area of muscles and then occasionally throwing in a total body day But if you have found your groove good for you and keep on going! •

Dumbbell flyes are an important exercise, especially in HSP training. With this exercise, go as heavy as possible while maintaining perfect repetitions.
1.) Firmly position the feet on the ground
2.) Stetch the pectoralis until safe depth is acquired
3.) Control the weight back up, above the chest and squeeze
So here is the workout I did the other day on my live feed which I said I’d make a post about (note: SS stands for superset, meaning alternate between doing both exercises)
1) Warmup: pick a spot kinda far away - Skip there and back twice - Walking lunges there and back - leg swings: 10x2 per leg, front/back&side/side
2) Body weight squats SS sprints x 3
- 21 body weight squats - sprint there and back
3) Banded straight leg deadlift SS burpees x 3 - 16 deadlifts - 15 burpees
4) Single leg deadlift x2 - 15 per leg
- I did these with no weight, you can add weight but is a great stabilizing exercise and great for IT band strengthening
- TIP: keep hips squared to the ground
Sooo as Nick was away working in Toronto on Wednesday, and I didn’t have much time to make it into the gym before having to pick him up from the train I wanted something short and fast that would get my heart rate up as well as work a few of the major muscles in my legs. This is not my normal leg routine, but just something I supplemented with to get my butt moving ♀️ and MAN- I was actually sore the next day
The warmup wasn’t anything too serious as I wasn’t lifting any serious weights. Just something to get the blood flowing and my joints moving so I didn’t hurt myself doing any of the movements! The band I used for the straight leg deadlift is the same one I use to assist my pull-ups. I stepped on it and gripped between the legs and pulled up as if I was lifting a bar to add resistance on the hamstrings. The rep format I used is just one more rep than the last time I did the workout!! No gym? No problem the world is at our fingertips!!! I can answer any questions if you have them
