1.) What made you choose the industry that you’re currently working in?
Honestly, I didn't try to enter the media industry at first, it just happened haha. I started blogging when I was 16 years old and that changed the course of my future. I switched colleges and majored in journalism, did internships and worked for companies like The Wall Street Journal and then finally found my passion for both content creation and strategy. Over time I've built my unique lane, and the one I'm still in today.
2.) Why entrepreneurship and/or how do you incorporate entrepreneurship into your life?
I think it is important to still create whether full-time or outside of your job. Of course, whatever your main job is you need to give it 100% but, you should always create something during off time. You may not be able to test certain content in these big companies or in certain situations, having a side project would allow you to do just that. And, it can help you strategize for whatever your main piece of content is or for your job in general.
3.) How do you define success?
Happiness. If you are truly happy and confident in yourself and who you are, everything else will come. Everyone's qualitative and quantitative goals may vary but ultimately everyone wants to do things that they are passionate about and things that make them happy.
4.) What’s your end game?
Ultimately, I want to teach and continue working with brands to develop effective content. And of course, use my platforms to help people grow and learn through strategy and content development.
