Do you HATE rest days?! The thought of them causes you anxiety and stress that you’ll feel fluffy or gain weight on that day?

When I started my fitness journey, I would workout 7 days a week. Meaning zero rest days. Ever.

But my peachy friend, did YOU know that YOU can workout TOO much!!

It’s true beautiful peach! Our bodies need rest!! They need REST DAYS in order to recover!!

When we workout, we are creating little bitty micro tears in our muscles. These micro tears are actually how we build muscle 👇🏻

The recovery process to these micro tears involves protein coming in and 1) healing those micro tears but 2) building what I like to think of a little bridge/bandaid over the micro tear -> also known as new muscle!

In order for this process to happen, you actually MUST give your body rest! When you continue to work your body and muscles, the micro tears do not have enough time to re-build, this it actually just continues to tear down, instead I’d heal and re-build!

Side note: protein is upmost important! When you’re eating enough, you can’t adequately build muscle!

Abs was out and popping yesterday. The question I got was how can I just get 2 of those lol. Here is how

1. Eat in calorie deficit. Eat less then you are burning a day. So if you are consuming 2,000 calories a day and you only burn 900 a day; you need to eat 900 calories less each day.
2. Work out your whole body at least 3 times a week with weights!
3. Along with working out 3 times a week with weights do cardio as well 150 minutes each week. .
And you can not spot reduce. So to the people who want to loose just their belly and nothing else it's not going to happen like that unless your body genetics is set up like that. .
