I'm not always the best at eating my veggies, but I've found a way to sneak them in with the green drinks I make. Each week I have been making them slightly less sweet (I have a BIG sweet tooth) with less and less fruit, so I can decrease my overall sugar intake and have more energy for things I love, like hiking! Making small adjustments each week has been my path to success. Now I only add a small piece of fruit and LOTS more green leafy veggies.

Although small steps may seem less glamorous than making big changes, it is how you make LASTING changes, which is what is really important. If you keep putting one foot in front of the other, you will eventually get where you want to go, even if it takes you longer than you wanted.

Remember in school when you did that science project using a potato to light a bulb, or run a timer? That potato was alive ✨ and full of energy!! If you cooked that potato and tried the same experiment.. well it just wouldn’t work πŸ€·πŸΌβ€β™€οΈ You would have destroyed the life force that existed there.
I’m not saying cooked food is bad at. all. What I AM saying is that the power of raw living foods is so real!!! πŸ™ŒπŸΌ Plants and the blossoms of plants (fruits and vegs) hold SO much life and vitality, and when we consume them they give us all of that living energy! It’s actually freakin amazing if you think about it!

That is why I’m so selective when it comes to what I consider to be a c t u a l f o o d ✨ I have experienced such a remarkable difference in the way I feel, think and function over the last 2 years, and it’s solely due to the increase in what the planet abundantly provides, and what is clearly food naturally designed for us πŸ™ŒπŸΌ .

Night cooking πŸŒ›

I love sea food. It is like comfort food for me. I could just sit and pick up shrimp by shrimp like a nachos 🍀🍀🍀🍀 I needed something quick an fulfilling tonight.
I just added fresh garlic, turmeric, paprika, tomato sauce, and vegetable Knorr, cooked together for few minutes. Taste it during your cooking you will know when is ready. Can be served with rice, pasta or you can add some courgette and enjoy like that.

What is means is that what constitutes "being healthy" is completely individual. But what is true for everyone, is that being healthy is not just about the food we eat, but about our holistic health: our mental, emotional, physical, and relational health. It is about realizing we don't live in a vacuum and we also have to look at ourselves in relation to our world. It's understanding that when we change in one aspect of our life, it impacts other parts. For me, spending quality time exploring the world with people I love helps keep me feeling healthy.

It’s time for a new cycle at the gym! I change my goals and workout plan every 8-12 weeks so I continue to challenge myself with new goals and don’t get bored. Knowing our goals is important, but what is more important is knowing why you want to achieve those goals. Research shows when you know why you are doing something you are more committed and motivated. Ingredients:

2Β onions, quartered; redΒ peppers, seeds removed, quartered; yellowΒ pepper, seeds removed, quartered; 8 largeΒ tomatoes, preferably on the vine; 80g/3ozΒ chorizo, sliced; 400g tinΒ cannellini beans, drained and rinsed; 4Β garlicΒ cloves, bashed; 2 sprigs freshΒ rosemary; 8Β chicken thighs, skin-on, bone-in; 2 tbspΒ olive oil; 1 tspΒ sea saltΒ flakes; freshly groundΒ black pepper

Gratitude is an amazingly simple tool that can have a profound impact on our happiness and life satisfaction (so why the heck aren’t you practicing it?!). For the next week I challenge you to write down FIVE things that you are grateful for everyday, without repeating anything during the week.
