When it opened, in 1993, Indiana Jones and the temple of doom was the first attraction in a Disney park to have a looping! This out in the open loop is the most iconic part of the attraction that attracts crowds since 25 years now!
So something that I've wanted to happen my entire existence happened this weekend. While @betweenthepanels and I were picking up trash, I stumbled upon an odd looking piece of wood. As I looked closer, I noticed some striking similarities to the old ship wreckage found at the @gtmresearchreserve @betweenthepanels pulled an #indianajones and excavated around it so the ranger could get a good look. Here's hoping it can be examined and placed in a museum or someplace educational.
It was a wild find! That's for certain!
Who or what did you want to be when you grew up? I wanted to be Indiana Jones and a ballerina, not necessarily at the same time!
I didn't end up being a daring archaeology professor, and I realized quickly that I wasn't graceful enough to be a ballerina. BUT I still have my childlike enthusiasm for travel and learning and even for dancing! It's easy for us to let go of our childhood dreams and our joy for life; we forget what it's like to see the wonder in the world (and in people) through a child's eyes.
It's never too late to dig up that childlike zest for life and start dreaming again! If you could be anyone you wanted to be or do anything you wanted to do that would fill your heart with joy, what would you do?
