Compulsory house work: before the open house on Monday I had to fix my driveway which is pretty steep and 100 meters long. Lots of shovelling gravel and sand uphill with 20 kg bucket. Good workout but I sincerely HATE IT.
Training: clubbell - I have no idea what I’m doing and just trying some stuff with my 15 kg clubbell - have to say he is a perfect but very strict teacher! 😆 will punish you instantly. #tacfit #tacticalfitness
Followed by EMOM 44 kg double hand swings . I have to swing.

Some Carry Fischer action (get It! @iamcoachfury idea of course). Went for 25 minutes this time without putting the bell down. Doing loaded carries is way more fun outside, wearing a big hat, with an #ironman kettlebell, and rocking out to punk music.

As Australia now has the 6th fattest children on earth our government is considering weigh ins for children at school.
This seems to be a polarizing political issue for most parents.
Some think it will help, others think its 'fat shaming' I am still undecided as to how I feel on this as I see pros and cons both ways.
There is one thing however that is 100% true and unavoidable.
If our government continues to give the nutritional advice that it currently teaches then Australian children will continue to get fatter and no amount of weighing will help this issue.
Our governments insistence on promoting "healthy" cereal and whole grains and its consistent pushing to ensure people start their day with breakfast will guarantee that we hold the title of "fattest nation on earth" within a few short years!

DISFRUTAR SIN OBSESIONARSE. ¿Cómo ser disciplinado como atleta, sin caer en lo obsesivo, qué implica, qué beneficios me proporciona y qué sacrificios tengo que hacer?

Lo primero que tenemos que pensar es en lo que estamos invirtiendo.
Es una inversión en nuestra salud y a medio plazo la formación de un cuerpo saludable, nos volvemos fuertes, ágiles, rápidos, potentes, coordinados y ganamos seguridad en nosotros mismos.

Para gozar de todos estos maravillosos beneficios mediante la inversión y el sacrificio, primeramente hay que saber que no podemos esperar resultados de la noche a la mañana. Tenemos que tomar la decisión de cuantas veces por semana asistiremos a entrenar y lo primero que hay que tener en cuenta es que el 70% de los resultados que obtengamos vendrán directamente de la alimentación, 20% de las horas de sueño y el entrenamiento es sólo un 10% del paquete.
Sí, hay que entrenar duro, pero con inteligencia, hay que saber reponerse, alimentarse(tener en cuenta que no existen los productos milagro) y valorar más la calidad del sueño, al igual que los alimentos.
La industria de la pérdida de peso se aprovecha de tu desesperación vendiéndote cosas que no funcionan, todo está en la alimentación.

El compromiso es contigo mismo, no con tu entrenador, no con tu nutricionista, sino también no con los demás.
Tu eres dueño de tus decisiones y tu tomas le determinación si estás dispuesto a hacerlo o no. Esto será un referente de que tanto te amas a ti mismo para mantener tu salud y rendimiento en un estado óptimo.

Al final creo que todos queremos llegar a los 80 años y seguir entrenando y poder jugar con nuestros nietos, ser autosuficientes, no requerir de un bastón y no haber pisado nunca un quirófano por problemas cardiacos o cualquier enfermedad crónico-degenerativa.
Tu cuerpo, tu salud y tu calidad de vida simplemente quieren que te comprometas. ▪️█─────█▪️ @josei.alvarez

Doing some work/training this morning while little one at dancing.
This is awesome for the glutes you don’t have to use a step but intensifies the exercise and works the hamstrings. I also use this 6kg kettle bell also holding it above my chest and extending the arms to the ceiling (not to lock out)
Great move to put at the end of a workout for those summer booties. 👌🏻🍑

So this morning as usual on a Saturday I had my session with my PT @hayleyrivers and my started like this

I woke up late,Rushed to get ready so I didn't miss session, got ready rushed out and parked up....than I thought s**t I aint eaten breakfast so was like it's okay I have a protein bar in my bag...looked 👀👀 nope wasn't in there...I knew from that moment so fucked up lool...... So I get in studio to see the board of what we we're to do in session today 😂😂 I could of cried 😭😂.... I struggled so bad today and couldn't focus as all 😂😂 I forgot what I was doing,forgot how many counts I had done and had complete brain fog 😂😂...luckily Hayley was there to keep me going loool....My advice is if you eat before a workout and you don't have anything the above may happen so make sure your bag has a protein bar in at least 😂😂 Apart from that I'm glad I pushed through.....as stepping out of my comfort zone is what I need to carry on pushing harder to achieve my goals

After my latest video - I had a few people ask me for a KB Swing tutorial. So here it is!
Key points to remember about the swing: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ➡️ It is an explosive, powerful movement.
➡️ It's not a shoulder exercise, so stop using excessive shoulder flexion to bring the kettlebell up to face height.
➡️ It's also not a squat, so don't bend your knees too much.
➡️ Think of it more as the kettlebell is your pendulum and let it take your body on a motion that you're still in control of. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Watch the video and if you want any more informative videos like this then let me know!

💥 Functional & Powerful (SWIPE) 🔥

📝 Tough pairing of movements in this part of the session. Getting real functional with the first part, then lifting that barbell.
.
1️⃣ Contralateral Walking Lunges - 3*30m each side 👉 These are super tough on the midline and the ol' legs/posterior chain. The overhead and front rack KB at different weights really challenge the midline in a way that you don't usually get when evenly weighted. Which is made more difficult by one KB being OH and the other in the front rack. Getting some absolutely fire abs!

2️⃣ Power clean - 3* 3 singles @ 90kg
Keeping on top of things with some power cleans. Working with 3 singles each round with a moderately weighted 90kg.
Feeling very comfortable and controlled with these. The purpose of which in this instance was to just keep the toes dipped in some weightlifting work at a moderate weight.
