I heard for every dead lift video I post, a gym bro stops quarter squatting. Sumo AMRAP with 405 after 375 for 2 sets of 8 and AFTER 375 for 5 sets of 2 from a 2 inch deficit. I refuse to squat here with the cheap bars and weird plates.
CrossFit plates and bars ARE NOT meant for heavy deadlifts... Found out the hard way today when I was going to try 495 for 2. The bar bent so much I lost all momentum and power. Plus the plates are so uneven that I struggled to keep the bar balanced which you can see.

Since we're almost out of here I decided to make this a week of PRs and just see what I can do for singles on variations. Hit a 475 pull from a 2 inch deficit. Locked my knees out a tad bit too soon. Deficits are such an awkward movement for me because of my long legs. Finished the day off on bench with mini bands. #AlmostHome
