LIFE ON THE LINE 011: BAUHAUS RESTAURANT @bauhausrestaurant
David Mueller @davidamueller is currently one of the co-executive chefs at Bauhaus @bauhausrestaurant. While in university for engineering, David found himself working inside a kitchen and was immediately drawn to cooking. Beginning in chain restaurants such as @cactusclubcafe and @joeyscanada, David pursued a more ambitious position and landed a job working for Lee Parsons @wedgewoodhotel. His 2.5 years under Lee were instrumental in his growth as a chef and exposed him to fine dining. Not long after leaving Wedgewood he was hired at Bauhaus as a chef de partie. Over the last 2. 5 years he has worked his way up to the very top of the ladder. As mentioned, he and @timschultechef currently share the responsibility of Executive chef.
David describes his food as seasonal, sensory, modern cuisine. Watching him work the pass the evening I photographed him and his brigade, I would have guessed he was a 20 year veteran. Amazingly, David has been professionally cooking for just over 6 years. Inspiring stuff buddy.
