Workout because you LOVE your body not because you hate it!
I love that statement BUT I have to CONFESS... I started this journey over a year ago because I felt like I didn't like my body!
Turns out I didn't hate my body. I just hated how I felt. Bloated, tired, weak, etc. That wasn't the fault of my body... That was MY fault. Those feelings were a result of what I ate, stories I told myself, lack of discipline, excuses!!! I made SO much progress by tweaking my eating habits and getting quality workouts in. Well, my body has changed again drastically in the last 8 months , but most days I'm staying positive and loving this alternate path in my health and fitness.
So if you're just starting out on your journey REMEMBER to FOCUS on what you can control. Focus on what you're putting in to your body and how you're treating your body. Do it because you LOVE your body and you want to FEEL better!
