“Honestly, there are very few genuine people left in the world. Very few people who haven’t let hate take over their heart. Their minds are clouded by ignorance and negativity..and they know it, but won’t fix it. I wish nothing but the best for those people, I hope they grow and realize that we are all just people trying our best to figure out life, but that the best way we do that, is by opening our minds, even to things we don’t understand or like, and spreading nothing but love, and positivity in all directions. It is the only thing in this world that matters.
Many people misunderstand Jah. He was not a god, or a savior, but believe it or not he was a hero. In the sense that in a world full of fake bullshit everywhere you look, he was real. He stayed true to himself, he saw the error in his ways of negativity, and used that as a light to guide himself towards becoming a better person. He had incredible reach and influence over millions and decided to lead by example. Showing us all that we can be the change we want to see so desperately in the world, if only we love ourselves first and foremost, and then each other. Hatred is not the way, and the truth will prosper. Do not lie, to yourself and those around you.. do not feed the negativity, or those negative thoughts inside your mind. Simply put, try your best to make the world a better place, although you are just one person, one person can impact more than that one can ever imagine.”
I can’t believe it’s been a year and I am still in shock about his passing. I am still truly heartbroken, but today is a day to celebrate what he’s created and to reflect on his life and how it changed towards the end. I cannot stress enough how much we cannot forget him and this day. Happy Jah Day, we will always miss you and hold you close to our hearts ❤️
