Being realistic this week considering it’s #finalszn 🤓
Lunch deets~ 1 sweet potato cubed and baked in the oven at 425° for 12-15 min each side🍠, 4 oz Boar’s Head Golden Classic Chicken lower sodium🍗, and 2/3 cup microwaved frozen peas🍵. For breakfast I had scrambled eggs🍳, and cinnamon oats🥣 with a banana🍌. Then I had a quick leg workout, came back and had a protein shake (1 cup almond milk🥛 + 1 scoop vanilla protein + 1 frozen banana🍌) and then made this lunch. A quick and easy way to hit your protein goal every day is to have a protein shake! But I don’t believe that they should be “meal replacements” so I eat real food like about an hour or so later after my shake. Yo! Check out this fresh spring/summer-mealprep! I placed lentils, buckwheat, strawberries and hummus on a bed of arugula. The combination of hummus, strawberries and arugula is unbelievably good! Ingredients:
100g brown lentils
100g buckwheat
100g arugula
200g strawberries
hummus
Wash lentils and buckwheat thoroughly and cook them in separate pots. Wash arugula and strawberries. When lentils and buckwheat are done cooking, don’t forget to wash and rinse them again! Check my post yesterday if you want to know how I made the hummus.

We’ve worked with over 3000 clients and most of them have completed a Food Sensitivity Test with us. Occasionally we hear that a client is disappointed that they didn’t see better results following their test. -
Consider these four things if you’re struggling to see results:
1. Are you eating real food? The test results won’t help you buy better processed food.
2. Are you 100% eliminating your food intolerances or just here and there? My best advice is to be consistent for at least 30 days to see results. Start by eliminating the major offenders.
3. Prep your food. The most successful clients take 4-8 hours per week for food prep.
4. Consider using glutamine, digestive enzymes and probiotics to support your digestive system for 30 days while you follow your test results.

When it comes to meat and fish as my protein source, I like to vary it throughout the week 🍽️✔️ Different sources of protein contain different essential vitamins and nutrients. Red meat is rich in vitamin B12 and iron whereas fish like salmon or sardines are high in omega-3 fatty acids📝 Eating too much of the same foods over and over again not only gets boring but can lead to dietary deficiencies. Here is what I usually choose from:
Chicken or turkey 🍗 - white meat is the leanest choice, but I wouldn't give up on dark meat if you skip the skin. Both chicken and turkey give you about 22-25 grams of high-quality protein, along with B vitamins and selenium. Chicken is also easy to cook.
Beef 🥩 - lean meat delivers up to 27 grams of protein, along with a healthy dose of iron, zinc, vitamin B12 and numerous other nutrients.
Pork 🍖 - contains branched-chain amino acids (BCAAs), which are key in supporting muscle recovery. If you choose lean pork, it is not that high in fat.
Shrimp 🍤 - type of sea food very low in fat (only 0.3g per 100g of shrimp) and gives you 24 grams of protein. It is reach in vitamin D, niacin, selenium and vitamin B12. Moreover, shrimp contain antioxidants such as astaxanthin, which reduces inflammation and oxidative damage.
Cod 🐟 - is a great source of vitamins B3, B6 and B12, as well as omega 3 fatty acids, all of which provide benefits for heart health. Additionally, cod contains selenium, magnesium and potassium. it is packed with protein (18 grams), low in calories and has little fat.
Salmon 🐠 - it supplies iron, zinc, niacin, vitamin B6 and vitamin B12, in addition to a whole host of other nutrients you need for good health. It tends to be very high in heart-healthy omega-3 fatty acids.
I recommend you to vary your protein sources by incorporating fish, red meat, chicken, turkey, sea food but also eggs, beans, vegetables and dairy to keep you feeling great and covering all your dietary deficiencies. Mixing things up a bit also keeps your diet interesting and let you perform at your best 🤗

TBT ❤️ the sacrifice is worth the reward. I have made little effort to recover from baby royalty. Gym 3 to 4 times a week occasionally I play with eating right lol and I do fasted cardio for a week and stop. But my priorities have changed my goals are different I want to just be overall healthy. Keep my fat percent down and look sexy for my zadddy. The point this is a life long journey and take your time. One day at a time you will reach your goals.

Reverse dieting is the process of increasing your calories after a diet. Straight away @chrissydaskfitness bumped up my calories by 250. I’m up to a more comfortable intake, and will continue to increase from here!
In the scheme of things my calories are still quite low, but after the initial jump in calories we’ll make smaller steps from here so I’m not overwhelmed and we can monitor how my body responds.

Naughty Nora strikes again! While I was brushing my teeth (30-60 seconds, TOPS) she got a sharpie from my purse and decorated her leg and my bamboo floor... thanks for the new look Nono. 🤦🏻‍♀️ while I was cleaning the sharpie off the floor, she managed to break my smoked sea salt glass container in the kitchen and crunch up about 15 saltines. A little insight to how I meal prep. Yes, I cook and prepare for two types meals all at the same time. 6 lunches and 6 dinners. I make a total of 12 meals to cover us for three days. An easy and tasty way to prep your veggies is to grilling them.
You can use whatever veggies you like or whatever is in season. I grilled baby zucchini, bell peppers, shishito peppers and asparagus.
All you need for the marinade:

Мы приготовили буханку поменьше и две маленькие буханки в жестяных банках. — 125 мл теплой воды — 125 мл теплого молока — 10 г сахара — 7 г сухих быстродействующих дрожжей — 250 г цельнозерновой пшеничной муки — 250 г пшеничной муки — 7 г соли — 1 ч.л. мускатного ореха — 1 свекла среднего размера (~150 г) — 50 г меда — 30 мл оливкового масла — 60 г очищенных грецких орехов, крупно порубить

В глубоком стакане или мерной кружке смешать воду, молоко, сахар и дрожжи. Размешать, дать постоять до появления на поверхности пузырьков, 5-10 мин.

В отдельной глубокой емкости просеять оба вида муки, соль и мускатный орех.

Свеклу натереть на мелкой или средней терке, добавить к мучной смеси и растереть руками, чтобы не осталось не покрытых мукой свекольных комков. Добавить к свекольно-мучной смеси жидкость с активизировавшимися дрожжами, масло и мед, орехи. Замесить эластичное не липкое тесто. Смазать глубокую емкость маслом, скатать тесто в шар, поместить в емкость, накрыть пищевой пленкой. Оставить при комнатной температуре на 1-2 часа, пока тесто не увеличится в объеме вдое.
Аккуратно обмять тесто, немного вымесить, 3-5 мин. Придать желаемую форму, переложить на противень, застеленный пергаментом. Накрыть пищевой пленкой и снова дать немного подойти, 1/2-1 час.

Разогреть духовку до 200º. Перед выпечкой сделать на поверхности хлеба небольшие надрезы. Выпекать в хорошо разогретой духовке около 30 мин. или до готовности.

Опять же, из-за наличия свеклы, хлеб хорошо хранится и на следующий день остается таким же мягким.
