In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficient, the Most Merciful.
My grandmother, may Allah be pleased with her, taught us the Arabic alphabet when we were little.
I remember my cousins and I would compete to see who learns it faster.
I did not learn how to read arabic though, and years later, when I started learning the alphabet again, I felt overwhelmed.
I struggled to memorize the alphabet, recognizing the letters was so difficult and my progress dreadfully slow. I would shy away from reading in public...
There’s this beautiful hadith:
“As the Prophet ﷺ said:
Verily the one who recites the Qur’an beautifully, smoothly, and precisely, he will be in the company of the noble and obedient angels. And as for the one who recites with difficulty, stammering or stumbling through its verses, then he will have twice that reward.”
Your struggle is so precious in the eyes of Allah, that he gives you *twice* the reward. SubhanAllah, there’s beauty in the struggle 😌♥️
