How’s your summer body going?? Winter for me was more about better nutrition than exercise due to injury, just modifying workouts to be shorter, less impact and more isolated.
But it’s not about what’s happening on the outside , it’s about what’s happened on the inside. Those who know me know I haven’t always been a health and wellness advocate. There was a time when I tortured my insides with cigarette’s and terrible, terrible nutrition, causing not only me unhealthy on the inside, but HATING the woman I saw staring back at me. I hated myself for letting myself get that way, felt guilty for not being a positive example for my children and felt like I was a worthless sack of 💩. After many childhood years of showcasing a talent, swimming up & down the pool with the local swim club, I realised how I had reversed all that time and effort and let down my parents who had also put so much effort into encouraging and supporting. So I decided I needed to change. I started with exercise, walking the kids in the pram, invested in a boxing bag and punch away my frustrations, exercise became an release for my mental wellbeing, stimulating happy endorphins within my brain, helping me to feel GOOD again. I felt so good, I wanted to share my experience and inspire other mums to start to live healthier, not for@your outside , but for your insides. For you mental well-being, to love yourself more and to give yourself credit, by giving yourself time to be a better YOU. So studied Fitness and began A+ Fitness Transformations becoming #womenencouragingwomen tribe of PBC.. I know I’ve inspired many to change their lives and I know there’s so many more watching that will one day make it their time to change for themselves.
