Milky Way over Joshua Tree National Park
I had the great pleasure of chasing the Milky Way, in Joshua Tree National Park, this weekend. While the light pollution and cloud cover somewhat obscured the starry clusters, I was stoked with the resulting, unique lighting and the outcome of this image. It was truly magical!
This image is a “vertorama”, composed of 3 horizontal photos, which were stitched together, to form a singular vertical image.
P.S. My sincere gratitude to my beloved @__tara.a & our fur babe—Willow—for patiently waiting for me to capture what I had envisioned. Sadly, there’s too many potential predators for Willow to hike through the desert with us.
P.S.S. Thank you, @andrew.helmer.photo & the @danielkordan community photog group, for your willingness to offer constructive criticism, which helped in the post-processing.
