Week 3: ‘Cool Off”
So this is coming late because I had a SUPER LONG and busy weekend and it started on Wednesday. I had the opportunity to work with one of my favorite artist this weekend and ended up creating 16 concepts and tracks with 12 hours! It was so amazing creating with a person who had the same zeal and love for music! It was so worth it and I know we will be doing that again. I was just so hype off of the session that I had to take sometime to rekindle my energy the next day. During that process, I thought of the word, relaxation. I thought of the scripture Matthew 11:30 (KJV) - For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
If you read from verse 28 you see that Jesus is letting us know that you can find rest and relaxation in His yoke. “For I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.” - Mat. 11:29. It brought me back to a place from when I first left religion and entered into relationship. I felt so free and ready to take on this new journey. That’s what I felt like this weekend. I was renewed and had a new revelation and now that all of the chaos is over, I could cool off and keep it moving! Even though this weather interpreted cool off in a whole other perspective. But it got me an extra day off so I don’t mind at all! I get to hang with my 3 perfect ladies today! Enjoy your day today! Remember to Like and share!
