my #natcon18 experience in one word: redemption.
the reality of dad’s death during nat con last year brought a fog of fear and trauma to the campus that held years of precious memories. I was apprehensive to return to the places I walked on that, the hardest day. but God knew I was coming; he saw to it that every space, every room, yes, even the frisbee fields, was bathed by a redemptive purpose. •
these places now represent new things - not replacements that mask or minimize the past, but fresh memories because he is ever reworking, redeeming, and making all things new.
