Excited & humbled to be on this panel ❤️ MelaninFest London presents to you THE MELANIN EFFECT: BUSINESS AND BEYOND.
Taking place on SATURDAY 21ST October at Colourful Radio, Southwark SE1 0BL 3pm - 5pm
Featured music creatives Kalisha J, Vicky Sola, Silvastone and Diamond City will be discussing the pros and cons of being in the music industry, facing challenges because of racial issues, breaking the barriers of afrobeats, and not giving up when your music just isnt having an impact.
All touring artists need a Road Manager and after travelling with both Fuse and Mr Eazi, Naija Boi will be telling us why Road Managers are so important
Promoters play a key part in the industry, and leading Ghanaian promoter Dennis Taiwah, Founder of Akwaaba UK will be telling us what he looks for in an artist, how he picks the right artists for his shows and the impact and importance of bookings for any artist.
Discussions will be led by Nayoka, a leading radio host and online journalist, also giving her input on the importance of interviews and media presence in the music industry
