Going to the gym isn’t just about working out, and physical fitness. It’s an opportunity to be in the moment; to re-centre and ground yourself.
The benefits of taking an hour from my day to hit the weights, allows me to push hard, to work on my own personal fitness goals whilst sweating out the extra energy, and to be thankful for what I have. ———————————————————
Whilst my mind often wonders weeks, months, even years ahead; these gym sessions allow me to stay in the present. And when I leave, I feel ready...ready for the day ahead. ———————————————————
So whether it’s an hour of pure intensity, or simply a half hour foam-rolling session, I’m always grateful for taking the time to work on myself. ———————————————————
