Even though I’m a Photographer, I do find it challenging to capture my other passion (yarn & knitting) in the best way possible. Sometimes a photo doesn’t always do the yarn justice. The colour, texture, and the softness is not the same as it is in person. But! Here is my attempt at capturing these three skeins of scrumptious yarn. Made from 100% alpaca, that ice blue colour is hand-dyed while the fawn colour and natural skeins are un-dyed. I purchased these skeins for a special birthday present last month from the shop, Alpaca Avenue @lady_olivia57, and I couldn’t be more pleased. Fellow knitters, if you haven’t tried knitting with these yarns yet, you’ve got to! The brand, Silver Cloud Alpacas, is from Ontario and they raise their alpacas on their farm with love and care. You can totally feel that in the end product. I did end up finishing the project, but will show and tell you about it another time Also - being a Photographer, I’ve had my heart set on having a wooden backdrop for a while to help showcase products. I contacted my friend and Carpenter, @jonathantongwc and he helped put these gorgeous reclaimed wood slabs together to give me exactly what I envisioned. Thank you Jon!
