So tonight we have a request for wine pairing! We’re going to head down to cellar and choose our wines.
SWIPE LEFT for wines: First up we have the Primitivo full bodied, intense flavour and quite mineral from Puglia, south of Italy perfectly paired with the lamb. Next up the Vermentino, from Sardinia - sharp, notes of lemon and goes superbly with the squid or hake. Then the Finca Manzanos a white rioja, an evolution of a regular red rioja, grape is 100% tempranillo, paired wonderfully with squid or the chic peas! Finally the Volubilia is Gris from Morocco, it’s in between a white and rose, quite dry, sharp notes, not too fruitful perfectly refreshing - paired brilliantly with the tagine!
