We chose @onswann in Hyde Park to enjoy our holiday dinner with friends @lifeatstarkeyranch - first time did not disappoint! Ambience was open concept contemporary loft and the menu is eclectic with options for sharing including Charcuterie. Last night I started making the 30 day meal plan for #januarywhole30
.
To be honest, my eating hasn’t been very thought out since having Lynden and some days my meal consists of a couple tablespoons of peanut butter because the struggle is just real some days 🤷🏼‍♀️ so sitting down and thinking through 30 days of healthy meals last night was in a weird way, very therapeutic 😜 and also inspired me to make this deliciousness this morning.
.
One of my tips for Whole30 is to stock your fridge with some good add ons like guacamole. It’s so easy to grab quick and add to a burger or chicken. Also great to add some pomegranates to and eat with some plantain chips or veggies if you need a snack and a change up. .
Feels so good to be making all the things again!! 🙌🏻

This weekend I taught 4 hours of pole dance on Friday night & 4 hours on Saturday morning... it broke me! Hi guys! I've noticed this silly trend in nutrition that is seemingly mirroring what is going on elsewhere in society where everything has to be sugar-coated in political correctness. In the case of nutrition, there's this idea now that there's no such thing as a bad carb or a good carb, so long as you eat everything in moderation or are meeting your calorie goals. 🍩 Well I'm here to tell you, it's time welcome sanity back to the table. A deep fried donut is an example of a bad source of carbohydrates. I'm not saying this ironically, or to be funny—a deep fried donut made of refined white flour is actually bad! Shocker! These foods are not healthy to eat, even in moderation, though eating one here or there won't kill you.
🥔 The example of a “good” carb source on the right is a sweet potato. It is a cellular source of carbohydrates, meaning that the starches are contained in plant cells, which make the glucose contained within more slowly absorbed into your body. The sweet potato is also a source of numerous nutrients, such as potassium, beta carotene, and resistant starch.

Truth: I eat oatmeal for the toppings 😂 but I love putting zucchini in my oats. I can barely taste it but it adds low calorie volume and micronutrients. Try it out!❤

2 servings of ZOATS
1 medium sized zucchini grated
2/3 cup quick oatmeal @bobsredmill
2 1/3 cup unsweetened almond milk @earthsowncanada
3 tbsp chia seeds
.
Mix in a pot until liquid is absorbed and consistency is where you like it. About 5 minutes. Pour into 2 bowls. .
Next Carmelize banana:
1 tsp coconut oil
1 banana sliced lengthwise and in half.
.
Cook on medium heat. Flip only once to avoid breaking and turning into mush.
.
Topped oatmeal with banana, @wedderspoonofficial manuka honey, @beekeepers_naturals bee pollen, @traderjoes nut butter, cacao nibs and goji berries.
